La Ventana is not a resort town in the traditional sense. Inventory is limited, word travels fast within the kiteboarding community about what is available, and properties with direct or easy launch access do not sit on the market long. Buyers who are serious tend to move quickly once the right property appears.
What buyers are looking for
Proximity to the beach and launch zones matters most, followed by wind exposure and simple practical things like secure storage for kites, wings, parawings, boards, and gear. Many buyers also want a layout that works for hosting friends during peak wind season, since La Ventana properties tend to become a hub for the whole crew once word gets out that you bought.
